Days Inn by Wyndham Mandan Bismarck Area

This is our usual hotel for a weekend getaway. The staff are friendly and super helpful, the beds are really comfortable, and we've never had any trouble with the room appliances. We love the rooms and beautiful bathrooms, and we enjoy playing bingo at the bar in the afternoons. I'd recommend it to anyone.

It was a decent stay. The bathrooms were impressive, the beds were a good size, and the rooms were fairly clean. Breakfast had no hot food, and the room could use a microwave. Still, it was decent overall.

Our room was clean and quiet, and the staff I spoke with were decent. The night guy was quiet but polite, while the woman I saw in the morning was bubbly. On checkout day, at 9:40 a.m., someone opened our door without knocking even though checkout was at 11. Also, the main light switch by the door didn't work, so it was hard to see where to put things and find the other switches.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable, clean, and everything worked. The staff were nice, and the place looked lovely and well cared for. We picked it because of the reviews, and it mostly met our expectations. The problem was the noise: I could hear everything from the hallway and the room next door, including throat clearing, coughing, farting, and conversations about what to wear. It made me really uncomfortable. I understand tile and lino floors are easier to keep clean, but they turn the place into an echo chamber. We won't return because of the poor soundproofing. Sorry.
