Nancy She made the trip feel special by taking such good care of us. Her hospitality was the standout, and it felt genuinely rare. The room was clean and the location worked perfectly too. Had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Nancy at the front desk was so kind to me, even though I was a stranger. I was in Park Rapids for a family emergency, not a fun visit, and she made that difficult time easier and memorable. I’ll definitely come back because of her. Thank you, Nancy.

We switched to a second-floor room after the staff member warned us that the whirlpool in our King Deluxe suite might not work. My mom was recovering from hip replacement surgery and used a cane, but decided the climb was worth it. Then we found there was no hot water. The hot tub in the pool area was out of order as well. I was told the staff member had spoken with the manager three weeks earlier, but the water heater still hadn't been serviced. When I spoke with the manager in the morning, she called it a “bummer” several times and said it hadn't been a problem since the first time, though it had been a busy weekend. She offered no discount, just excuses. Guests also had to ask her to refill breakfast items while she stayed in the office. I'd booked the suite for my mom and me as a treat after a long week for me and her long recovery. We didn't get the hot tub experience we'd planned.

We got a Jacuzzi suite as an upgrade at check-in, which was nice. The staff member let us know the jets weren't working, though that didn't bother us since we never ended up using it. The king bed was nice, and we had a great week here. Recommend it.
