For a short stay near Los Angeles, this is a practical, reasonably priced option. It’s a simple, no-frills hotel without much to expect, and the beach is about a ten-minute walk away. The downside is its location beside a fairly busy road, which can make things noisy at times.

The location was good, and the staff and service were good too, so the stay was worth it. But our King Suite smelled terrible. I had to buy a deodorizer myself and leave the windows open for the first two days, even though they face roaring traffic. The crosswalk beep was also constant, day and night.

We slept fine with earplugs, even though the motel is right beside a busy road. It’s an older place, but it was nice and clean, and the location was really good. The staff were welcoming, and they let us check in later than expected when our flight was delayed.

The room was clean, and the location worked well, close to both a shopping center and the beach. But there was road noise, and the Wi-Fi connection was poor. There wasn’t a coffee machine in the room or even a kettle for boiling water. The only coffee option was the machine at reception, available from 7 am to 1 pm.
