Quality Inn & Suites Manhattan

My room was probably the cleanest I've had at any hotel in manhattan , kansas. The pool and hot tub were extremely clean and well kept, the microwave, refrigerator, air conditioner, and heater all worked fine, and the t v was huge. Everyone on staff was kind and polite to me and my dog Lucy. Breakfast and service were great too. There are probably 6 or 7 restaurants a two-minute walk away, the mall is across the street, and the grocery store is right next door. If I come back to Manhattan, Kansas, this is the hotel I'll stay in permanfore. I'd recommend it to friends, family, or a complete stranger. The general manager also deserves credit. I booked online for a month later by mistake instead of for that day. I should technically have been charged about $80 more, but he worked with a booking.com customer service representative to sort it out. His help and understanding meant I paid only $2.50 extra. I had opted out of the insurance, so it was up to him whether I lost that money. He told me that if he couldn't do something helpful, it wouldn't be right, because you never know what someone is going through. He was polite, kind, and wanted the best outcome. In my opinion, he deserves to be the CEO of that company.

I'm so happy to stay here every time I visit Manhattan KS for work. The owners clearly care about the property and guest comfort. Everything in the room worked, from the sink to the shower curtain bar, and the wastebaskets, microwave, and fridge were all in the right spots. It's unusually perfect. The pool was lovely, not chilly, with clean towels and cleaner seating. The hot tub was pristine and properly hot, maybe 103 or 104. It felt like a Disney moderate-level resort. The hotel was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly. I usually write reviews before reading earlier ones, and it seems like things improved a lot over the past year. I didn't notice the train until one evening when the coupling made the building vibrate gently. It was kind of nice, like distant thunder on the plains, and I never heard any horns. I use a black light in hotels, and this place was as clean as can be. Housekeeping was terrific, and breakfast was stocked and tidy. You may feel the pool humidity at the front desk, but they're balancing the pool air as best they can with the design. Don't let that put you off.

It's not the fanciest hotel, but Imal and the rest of the staff made this one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. We had two kids, were loud, and checked out a little late. Imal at the front desk was fantastic, understanding, and really helpful.

The heated pool was so nice, and breakfast was good. Service was really friendly too. I accidentally made my booking.com reservation for next month, but they quickly fixed it and kept me in the same room. It was a great stay!
