We felt safe both inside and outside, and the staff were friendly. We were traveling with a toddler and infant, so any hotel would have its challenges. The room was acceptable for cleanliness, with clean linens and surfaces, though not exceptional. It’s hard to know whether everything is sanitized, but that’s part of any hotel stay. The food had some variety and was acceptable, but again, not exceptional.

The pool water looked greenish and dirty, so we chose not to swim. We also skipped breakfast. From what we saw, there weren’t fresh options, just cereal and prepackaged items. The lobby decorations felt cluttered and a bit overwhelming, and the walls could use better paint and perhaps plaster. Our room seemed clean, but we found an old remote and food crumbs behind the chair. Cleanliness overall was okay. The staff were friendly, it was quiet, and getting there from the highway was easy. There’s a good variety of restaurants nearby. You get what you pay for, and I’d call it a budget friendly hotel.

Everyone we met who worked there was very nice, and breakfast was good. The rooms looked clean, but my wife was bitten by bedbugs. The bites didn’t appear until Sunday afternoon. I called the front desk to report it, and the woman who answered said she’d notify the manager. When I still hadn’t heard from the manager after a day, I called the local health department. They said they’d send an inspector to check, so hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.

The location made it easy to get to food, Walmart, and the HWY, so we could avoid driving through the town’s busy traffic. The rooms look like the pictures, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly. When an issue came up, they apologized and fixed it quickly. Breakfast was small, but it was free and had the classic hotel waffles everyone loves!

The price just isn’t worth it. The rooms at Days Inn in Cabot, Ar. had an old, musty smell, and the TV kept cutting off the cable service. The pool was nasty, with trash floating in it. They told me the filter had just been changed and the chlorine would be changed, but it wasn’t. The manager was combative when I complained.
