The setting among the trees in the Pikes Peak foothills was beautiful. We were welcomed with fresh cookies and wine, then shown around the four lovely houses. The place is carefully maintained, with an old-world look, armor, little reading nooks, and inviting fireplaces. We left without a complaint and came back for another stay within a week.

Eight months ahead, my reservation was accepted. Then, three months before we were due to arrive, they emailed to say they couldn't honor it because a wedding party had booked after us. They said we could keep it only if we stayed two nights, something never mentioned before, and offered no discount. I'm disgusted with how this was handled and hope other people don't waste their time trying to book here.
