Mrs Jennifer was really helpful with reserving our room and checking in on us after we arrived. We had a great experience, highly recommend this hotel, and plan to stay again next year.

There was no service or help when I tried to check in. Eventually, someone who didn’t work there but knew the rooms helped me, and the room we entered was already occupied. My spouse and I left and drove farther to find somewhere reputable. Best Western for the win: it was $80 cheaper and the service was excellent.

The beds were comfy. That’s about the only good thing I can say. We booked online, but there was no office at the front, just a big sign with a QR code that sent us to a phone center where nobody answered. Then we found a sign saying, “I’m at home 111.” What is that, some working girls service or something? A guy in flip-flops and a T-shirt eventually came over, acted surprised, then said we were checked in. He explained that the new procedure was no key, just a code for a padlock with the key attached outside our door. When he noticed we were skeptical, he tried to reassure us that only he and we knew the code. Creepy. He said there was a deadbolt inside for extra security, but it was only a little door chain, nothing that could protect anyone. There was a jumping spider on the floor when we went in. He brushed it off and tried to kick it outside with his flip-flop. Is this a comedy show? Are you filming us? Later, the AC kept starting and stopping like a diesel truck every minute. We couldn’t sleep with it running, so we shut it off, but then it was crazy hot. We had a bad night, and found another live critter that my wife had to hunt down because she refused to sleep while it was alive. The TV was preset to a certain volume because the walls are very thin. I can understand that, but it was only Google TV, no regular channels, and the streaming volume kept changing, so we couldn’t listen to anything. The whole setup was a failure. Welcome to beirut Style Hotel. Something’s happened here. The reviews were great, and you can see some good renovations, but this was one of the worst places on earth.

I went in expecting an average room, but was surprised and glad I gave it a try. The owners were kind, the service was great, and they made me very happy with my purchase. Mr burgess was respectful, and Mrs Jania was easy to work with. The prices were great too, with such high quality for something so affordable. I’ll tell family and friends about my stay and recommend it. I highly recommend spending your money with these owners!
