The front desk employees were very nice, and I hope this review helps them pay attention to what needs improvement. I checked in late, and the room was cool and nice when we arrived. But when I pulled the sofa cushions off so my family member could sleep there, I found food crumbs and a mattress that looked like someone had peed on it. The free continental breakfast also fell short. It had toast bread, cereal, and waffles, but no scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, or fresh fruit. For the price I paid, the stay wasn’t worth it. I’m sharing this in the hope they address the problems.

The first room they gave us smelled awful, but the front desk moved us to another one without that odor. That change made the overall stay good. The beds were comfortable and worked well.

The rooms are what you’d expect at a budget hotel, and the service was professional and helpful. Compared with Spark across the street, the service here was a much better experience.

Keep an eye on your checking account, because you might be overcharged. I was trying to get my points and asked to check in at 2:30 in the morning, sleep for three hours, then go to work. The night person was going to let me check in early, but they charged me for the previous day. It felt like it was done on the sly. A day and a half later, the manager said he’d reversed one day’s charges and told me not to worry, to come by the office so it could be fixed. But nobody at the front desk knew anything about it, and I don’t trust that it’s resolved. My boss and everyone at my company won’t stay there. I stayed at Econo Lodge my last night.
