Travelers Inn Manteca

For the price, it was worth it, and I'd stay again. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and when the cable glitched they fixed it quickly. It was a little dated, with an older TV. Breakfast was just apples and packaged Danish, so as a diabetic I brought my own snack, which was fine. The coffee and orange juice were good. No hair dryer, so I'll bring mine next time. 🙂

The rooms were really dirty, and the old lady was very rude.

I didn't feel safe in this room. The door wouldn't lock, the bathroom was dirty, and the toilet was mostly clogged. There were hardly any lights aside from the table lamps. The television and microwave also didn't work most of the time. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone passing through near Manteca.

I booked two nights through Priceline because the reservation clearly said the Inn was pet friendly. When I arrived at 9:30pm, there was a sheet at the help desk saying no pets were allowed. I didn't want to find another place that late, so I kept my dog hidden. The cleaning lady saw us the next morning and kicked me out. I couldn't show her a screenshot, so I had no case and left on my own, without a refund. After I found my receipt and spoke with the Inn, I did get a refund for the second night. The whole situation was completely unprofessional. The front desk door was locked, and nobody was there for a few minutes. The cleaning lady, who I think manages the property, was combative and argued with me, acting like I wasn't telling the truth. I'll make sure the Inn confirms its pet policy. I wouldn't recommend it. Go to the Motel 6 in town or the one in Tracy, since they allow dogs. Don't put much weight on the 5/5 reviews. People might be giving the place a good review just because it gave them somewhere to sleep.
