The fishing ponds were a highlight for us. They’re well stocked and work for all ages and skill levels, and sitting by the water with a line in the water makes it easy to slow down. We stayed in the cabins up on the hills, where the views across the Flint Hills are beautiful and the quiet really sinks in. In the mornings, barn swallows skim across the sky as the sun comes up, with bullfrogs calling in the background. The pool is clean and peaceful too, a nice spot to float or read. East Bank feels like a place to reset and reconnect. We loved it.

The grounds were beautiful, and they’d thought through the details that make for a quiet escape. Our cabin was cute and really clean. We came for a little weekend trip to celebrate my kid’s birthday, and the two teenagers with us had a great time too. Pearl was kind and accommodating, and the whole team was easy to work with. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve brought a group of guys here for a few days in each of the last two years, and it’s been peaceful and beautiful every time. There’s plenty to do together: pickleball, with gear provided, or basketball, with a ball there too. We also like hanging out by the outdoor fire pit or inside the lodge. The facilities are clean and great. Highly recommend.

There’s lots of space and privacy out in the country, with relaxing things to do. It makes for a peaceful getaway, whether you’re coming as a couple, with family, or in a group.

We came from Kansas City for a chance to relax and enjoy the scenery, and had a great time. East Bank on Mill Creek is a real gem. It was our first visit, but we’re already planning another stay in July and August. Everything felt just right, an easy five stars from us.
