Mountain Treasure B&B

The backyard was peaceful, with a lovely green lawn, a creek, and an elegant dining area. The house was warm and welcoming, and our room was exceptionally clean. The host was polite, friendly, and easy to talk to, and suggested plenty of outdoor activities. Her homemade babka was delicious, and she also made a nice breakfast of eggs, fresh yogurt, fruit, and muesli. I enjoyed our relaxing stay. A few more breakfast choices would make it even better.

This is an AMAZING deal. The innkeeper was kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. I liked having different teas available all day, and there were plenty of towels. The bed was so comfortable I want those sheets at home. There’s a TV with lots of choices, too. I also appreciated that it’s on an easy main road to drive, with flat parking right level with the road, unlike many mountain stays.

Agnes and her husband Jan were wonderful hosts over Labor Day weekend. The place is quaint and charming, not fancy, but thoughtfully set up to make you feel at home. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and the fire pit was a great spot to meet people and look at the stars. Agnes let me follow her around the garden while she picked tomatoes and herbs for breakfast. There were three choices, and I had a yogurt parfait, then eggs from the chickens on site with tomatoes and basil from the garden. She also gave us helpful restaurant and activity recommendations. We can’t wait to return!

We left feeling rested and happy, and we’ll definitely return to the region. The quiet surroundings made it easy to relax after skiing, and the host’s care, especially the homemade breakfast, made our mornings feel special. The rooms were clean and warm, and the whole place had a cozy, calming atmosphere that put us at ease right away.
