The water view in the morning was the best part, and the resort has a calm, pretty atmosphere. The rooms are dated, though, and if you can choose, I’d go for an upper floor since those seem much better than the ground-level rooms. The bathroom fixtures took some fiddling to work properly. The kitchen is handy, but the fridge and stove are old, and the nonstick pots were badly worn and should be replaced. Our coffee maker was faulty, but staff brought a new one as soon as we told them. The staff leave for the night, so the office isn’t open around the clock. Check that you have what you need, like extra towels, before they head out. Lovely peaceful views, but the interiors and kitchenware could use attention.

We’ll be back for a longer stay. The location works well for getting around the Keys and is near the dog-friendly Sombrero beach. Our room was tidy and well equipped, and even the bathtub had a nice view. The grounds were well kept, with a little beach, boat launch, onsite water vehicle rentals, a cute pool, and a lovely dog-friendly garden. Check-in was quick, and everyone was helpful and patient. Such a beautiful spot.

We were out most days, so it worked fine for our girls’ trip, since we mainly needed a place to sleep and use the pool. It’s very clean, quiet, and in a great location. The online pictures make the rooms look nicer than they are, though. They’re dated and could use furniture and appliance upgrades.

The resort is pleasant, with activities such as cornhole and kayaking, and the customer service was wonderful. It’s centrally located near a lot of restaurants but away from the really crowded area, thankfully. In my opinion, places here are overpriced because they’re in the Keys, I guess. The rooms are old, and just so-so, though that’s true of other places too. You probably won’t spend much time in the room, which may be for the best.

Loved how quiet it was, and the location was great. The rooms had everything we needed, and the price was very reasonable compared with other resorts nearby. It’s family budget friendly but still feels like a luxury vacation.
