Fairfax Motel

The room was clean, the microwave worked, and the small room and refrigerator weren't a problem. The TV was flat screen and apparently had 901 channels, though that's all I know about it. Everything else was pretty standard. But I really couldn't sleep there. The beds were so firm and the pillows so flat, and that ruined it for me. After I switched on the air conditioning, I couldn't breathe well and kept sneezing. That might just be me.

The owner went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and was really helpful. Thanks again!

On 8-3-18 we stayed for two nights. The rooms had been cleaned up a bit, but weren't fully remodeled, still didn't seem very clean, and we saw roaches the first night. We considered paying for a couple more nights because it was cheap and had allowed my service dog. But when my husband went to pay, they said they couldn't rent to us because of the service animal. My dog's papers are current, and he has been my certified service dog for years. I believe businesses can't legally deny someone's service animal, and I'll contact the Better Business Bureau tomorrow to see what can be done to stop this place turning away people with needs. I understand they allowed pets until about two weeks ago, but banned dogs after two pit bulls were allowed to fight in the parking lot. Then, around 1 a.m., four cars pulled in and about seven women started banging on doors, supposedly looking for a coworker. They were dressed for the club and even said, “Let's go back to huxes.” Drama, drugs, and rude owners are all you get there.

When I pulled back the covers on both beds, I found stains on the sheets. I posted pictures. The box springs were covered in mold and dirty stains too. It was so gross, and this was far and away the worst experience I've had, enough to make me want to puke. I complained about what I found, and he refunded my money right away. I wouldn't recommend this motel.
