Seascape Resort & Marina

The pool, kayaks, and bikes made it easy to enjoy the water and the area without planning much. It's a peaceful place right on the water, with wide views that make you want to slow down. Don't miss either the sunrise or sunset. The setting feels quiet and uncrowded, while good food, coffee, and local activities are still just a short walk or bike ride away. If you want a calm spot to reset and enjoy the Keys at an easy pace, this is it. I'll definitely be back.

Seascape Resort and Marina in Marathon has great water views and a convenient location close to town. My room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and free kayaks and paddle boards were available. There isn't a restaurant or food service on site, so you'll need to go into town to eat, but it's nearby. It's a peaceful, comfortable place to stay in the Keys.

The setting and location are great, and the place itself is nice, but several things let it down. Our room cost nearly $1,000 for three days and had a dining area and microwave, yet no cutlery or crockery. We asked Chris and were told we hadn't paid for those. Strike one. The internet was appalling, with such a bad signal that you'd have to use your cellphone if you needed to work. Strike two. There were only five hangers. We were told nobody in Florida hangs or irons anything, but when they opened the cupboard after I asked to borrow an iron, there were clearly plenty of spare hangers. Strike three. And don't borrow a bike. None seemed serviced, none had brakes, and they felt like death traps. The place could be great if the service improved and guests were treated with respect. It felt like one staff member had her own agenda, especially when she pretended they didn't have things that were plainly there. A room with a kitchen area should at least have plates and cutlery. Without the pen knife I brought, we wouldn't have been able to use the kitchen at all.

I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful oasis. My room was spotless, everything worked, and the owners were very helpful. Outside by the water there are two docks, along with free kayaks and bikes.
