The price is fair, the place is nice and clean, and the woman at the desk was friendly. The beds could be more comfortable. I could feel the springs poking me. As a woman traveling alone, I think it’s good to be cautious. There were lots of out-of-town workers hanging around outside, and I found it a little alarming that the phone line in my room had been cut 🤨. If you’re not a woman traveling alone, the price is the best in MF, so go for it. If you are, I don’t know, girl.

My family went through a devastating ordeal after the recent deadly flash floods. My mother and stepfather lost their home, vehicles, and belongings, and escaped with only the clothes they were wearing. We’re grateful they survived, when many others did not. They had paid for three nights at Hill Country Inn & Suites while we worked to secure emergency help from GoFundMe and the American Red Cross. They needed just one more hour for the funds to arrive and asked Veronica at the front desk for some understanding. She refused to wait and made them leave the room right away. That lack of compassion during such a traumatic time was deeply upsetting. Thankfully, the Red Cross funds came through and got them a room at a Motel 6, where they were treated with care and respect. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. A little kindness toward people displaced by a disaster could have meant a lot, but we didn’t find it here.

The staff were very pleasant, and the rooms were clean and nice. It’s pet-friendly, though there is a fee. I’d recommend it if you want a clean, basic, good-value stay.

It’s an older place, but it’s kept very clean. The room and parking were good, the staff were really friendly, and it’s extremely affordable with easy access.
