The manager made the stay feel special for me and my partner. The hotel itself is magnificent, and our room was so cozy. Great breakfast, heating in the room, warm hospitality, and a lot of history. One of the best hotel experiences I've had, and I'd highly recommend it.

My daughter and I shared the King Junior suite, and the bed was super comfortable with the softest sheets. The shower had hot water and great pressure. The gardens and breakfast were delightful, and the location is awesome, within a short drive or even walking distance of anywhere you'd want to be in Marblehead. For me, the best part was learning from the house manager's ledger that Amelia Earhart and her mother stayed here in 1923. The front desk folks couldn't have been friendlier or kinder. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return.

The room was tiny, and the road outside kept us awake with noise all night. The air conditioner in our window didn't fit properly, so cold air poured in, and we couldn't adjust the heat. There was no hair dryer, and although the TV turned on, we couldn't watch anything. The room itself was clean and the House was charming, but the stained-looking carpet and cheap, cafeteria-style or garage-sale furniture made it feel shabby. Breakfast was just sliced coffee cake and granola, with no hot options, so this didn't feel like a real bed-and-breakfast. For such an outrageous price, I expected nicer decor and more amenities. We were very disappointed.

We were pleased with every part of our one-night stay at the lovely Hotel Marblehead. The room was clean and nicely equipped, and little treats like milk and cookies were a fun touch. The location was convenient, and the staff made us feel welcome. We'd happily recommend it and plan to come back.
