Othello made the stay wonderful for my family and me. He helped from the first phone call, when I just needed some basic information, through our arrival and making sure we had what we needed. He brought us water when the lobby dispenser needed refilling and got extra toiletries for everyone. Othello was a delight to deal with. He's the kind of person who makes guests want to come back. Thanks for everything!

The first room had a filthy mattress, and the second was a little better, but the place still felt worn out. The rooms were old and dirty, and the tub was stained. I'd put it at two stars at best, maybe sliding toward one, nowhere near three.

We had a large truck and trailer, and there was parking behind the hotel. I would have preferred the construction crew park there instead of taking up a whole side lot meant for passenger cars. The gentleman who checked us in was polite, got us settled quickly, and thanked us for our business. He said the hotel had new owners and upgrades were underway. The outdoor pool area was nice, with loungers, and was open until 10 p.m. on the night we stayed. Our room, 110, was clean but dated. The mattresses were worn out and badly sunken, and the rusty fridge/freezer chilled things without getting properly cold. The room stayed cool all night thanks to the working AC. The sink and shower had good pressure, though the water didn't drain well. Breakfast included hot and cold cereal, oatmeal packets, mini muffins, bread, bagels, coffee, and milk.

Housekeeping did a great job and went beyond what I expected. But there was no cell service in the room, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable at best. When I tried to speak with the man at the front desk, he kept interrupting and talked to me like I was a child.
