Clarion Pointe Kennesaw Town Center

The service was friendly, and I know you get what you pay for, but I wouldn't recommend it. The place may be newly renovated, yet the room was dirty and there was no elevator. They moved us to a supposedly cleaner room, where we found an item of underwear from the previous guests before checkout. Cleaning needs work. Breakfast had only a couple of options.

The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. As a woman traveling alone, I didn't really feel safe. There seemed to be quite a few long-term occupants. You get what you pay for.

I've stayed here twice, three months apart, and had no odor, roaches, or other problems either time. During the first three-night visit I was very pleased: the room was clean, the bed comfortable, everything worked, and the staff I met were friendly and helpful. The room had a TV, refrigerator, microwave, and safe. My expectations were low because of the price, and it's not fancy, but it's perfect for me. I'd stay again.

I really liked the remodeled look at Clarion Pointe. The rooms are spacious, nicely upgraded, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. After a couple of days, though, the atmosphere changed: some guests acted in ways that felt questionable and sketchy, and unruly children caused disturbances. As a solo female traveler, I didn't feel comfortable or safe. Staff did little unless law enforcement was contacted. Based on my own experience, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to women traveling alone.
