Extended Stay America Select Suites Atlanta Marietta Wildwoo

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had, and I wish I could give it zero stars. We arrived at 4 p.m., after the 3 p.m. check-in time, but nobody was at reception. We rang the bell repeatedly and waited over an hour and a half, completely ignored. A housekeeper eventually woke the receptionist. Fifteen minutes later she came out, demanded our name, and offered no greeting or welcome, just a cold, dismissive attitude. The first room was occupied. The second key card didn’t work. The third room hadn’t been cleaned, with trash everywhere, a bad smell, and a dirty toilet. We had to clean it ourselves and made three trips back to reception with heavy luggage while exhausted. At 8 a.m. the next morning, reception was locked at checkout. Support told us to leave the cards in the room or wait. There was no dropbox, and nobody took responsibility. Terrible service, rude staff, dirty rooms, and zero accountability. If you value your time and money, stay away. Never coming back.

The staff are extremely nice, and Taylor at the front desk has been amazing throughout my stay. Every time I came down, she made sure I had what I needed. The extended stay is in a nice, safe area and isn’t crowded, so I haven’t had to wait for elevators or struggle to find parking. The rooms aren’t spotless, but cleanliness hasn’t been an issue.

I had roaches every other day during my stay, and the room was only half clean when I arrived. They wanted to charge me for fresh towels, and room service never came. Around 3 a.m. on my second night, a guy was getting jumped on my floor, and I could hear him crying for help. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

The people working here clearly keep things under control, and I understand why they sometimes have to be firm. My daughter and I had been worn out from checking out of one hotel and moving to another, and the whole thing was starting to feel scary. Customer service had seemed like a thing of the past, so I really appreciated how the staff handled things here.
