Wildhaven Yosemite Glamping

The bathrooms were beautiful and clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They had free coffee and tea in the morning, too. I would have liked a water spigot closer to the Standard Tents instead of having to walk to the bathrooms. We can't wait to come back and try the Premium tents or Cabins, especially once the pool is open. Thanks for everything!

Our cabin had an amazing valley view, and there were horses right behind it, a charming surprise that really added to the glamping feel. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and we had a wonderful stay at Wildhaven Glamping. A couple of things for future guests: the ground around the cabins can get very muddy, so waterproof shoes help. The A/C and heater unit sits right outside the bedroom and can be a bit loud at night. Everything else was great. The property is expanding, and I'm excited to see how it improves. I'd definitely come back after the expansion is complete.

It poured rain the Thursday night I stayed, but the tent didn't leak, and hearing the rain on it was perfect for falling asleep. The tent was cute and had plenty of space for four adults. Staff were so kind, the bathrooms and showers were spacious and very clean, and it's close to both Mariposa and Yosemite. There were free card games to borrow and return, plus corn hole, BBQ grills, fire pits, and great parking. You could also buy food, snacks, and drinks. For the price, this place is a steal. I've already recommended it to family and would come back.

We love camping and were excited to try glamping, but this was one of the worst camping stays we've had, and we wouldn't return. The roads are rough dirt with loose gravel and large holes, and dust kept flying around all day. Our standard tent was on a downhill slope, so every trip to the bathroom or away from the tent meant walking up and down loose gravel. It was inconvenient and uncomfortable, especially at night. The tent was also very close to the main road, with constant traffic noise. The bathrooms were clean, but a long way from the tent, and the path had very poor lighting. Walking over uneven dirt and gravel in the dark didn't feel safe or comfortable. At 6:00 AM one morning, large trucks and workers made so much noise that we couldn't sleep, and it affected the rest of our day. We told the office and got an apology. Given how much it affected our stay, some effort to make it right, such as a credit, compensation, or another accommodation, would have been better customer service. There was just one bench and a small dirt patch by the tent, which wasn't practical for cooking, and no nearby water faucet. The setup didn't have the social, enjoyable feel we normally get from camping. Hardly anyone seemed to cook or spend time outside in the evenings, and we didn't see anyone making breakfast either. With the noise, awkward tent placement, difficult access, and lack of amenities, it wasn't worth the cost for us.
