The owner gave us a half-hour tour even though we hadn’t called ahead, and was happy to answer all our questions. The property has a lovely bed-and-breakfast, a shop with all kinds of things made from alpaca wool, and dozens of adorable alpacas. We got to meet one up close and feel how soft its fur is. The views across the rolling hills are stunning, and would make amazing backdrops for sunrise or sunset.
