It was nearly midnight, and my kid and I were exhausted when we tried to check in. I hadn't realized my driver's license was expired, which was entirely my fault, but the clerk canceled my reservation. I'd booked online and I'm a rewards member. She was rude from the start and seemed almost to laugh when she told me she'd canceled it. The lobby and parking lot were dirty, too. We went down the road to Comfort Inn, where I told them about the expired ID. They said it was no problem, saw I was a rewards member there as well, and even checked whether they could get me a better rate. Much cleaner and friendlier than the Super 8.

The chair was disgusting, and the metal fixtures had a lot of rust. Nothing looked very clean. Someone had left a used washcloth on the shower curtain bar. When we arrived, there was a problem with our room and we had to ask for another one. No one seemed to be at the front desk, so I had to pick up the phone there and call to get breakfast opened. It was 6:20 even though the sign said 6am-9am. The woman came out looking like I'd woken her up. Won't stay there again!

The room we moved to was fine and about what you'd expect from an economy hotel, and checkout was easy. We had to switch rooms after the AC stopped working in the first one. Also, they wouldn't let us check in at 2pm, so we waited until 230pm.

We left and went next door after finding a camera in the bedroom and a disabled fire alarm. The rooms were dirty, and the front desk was rude when we asked for a refund. Terrible service.

For a reasonable price, you get a shower and a bed. The room was clean and what I expected from an economy hotel.
