7 Star Inn

The whole hotel felt gross, and I'd rather sleep in my vehicle than stay there, even for free. I checked the room before completing my online pay-at-the-hotel booking, which hadn't given them my card details. The man there seemed clearly annoyed and kept grunting behind me. The mattress had stains and no protector. I was lucky to find another hotel.

The room floor felt sticky, like a freshly mopped floor that hadn't dried properly, and the bathroom was uncomfortable. The place smelled as if people had been smoking in it all the time. The woman helping us told us outright that nobody else would take us because it was 9:30 at night. Their site says pets are welcome, but they wouldn't accept cats in person, and we had to pay extra to keep ours with us. We'd just moved here from Maryland and our place wasn't ready yet. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were in town from out of state because of a family emergency, and the room was awful. The carpet was so dirty and sticky we couldn't walk around without shoes. The beds smelled bad and felt a bit damp, so we slept on top of the covers. The bathroom was dirty, seemed uncleaned between guests, and smelled moldy. The room itself smelled awful too. Vending machine food was old and stale, and the microwave had to sit on the floor because its cord couldn't reach an outlet from anywhere else. The three slot machines by the vending area took our money. One registered zero after we put in a $20, and the tickets were printed at the desk rather than at the machine, so we didn't get our money back. The woman at the desk was nice, but wouldn't refund it. We even showed her with a dollar how the money wasn't registering, and she said, "that just doesn't happen." We were only trying to take our minds off our loved one in the hospital. There were mattresses leaning against the hallway wall, the parking lot was poorly lit, and our flimsy door didn't feel safe. If you're there for an emergency and there are no other hotels, I'd sleep in the car.

The sheets had blood on them, though they told us the next day they were clean. The room was dusty and dirty, the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, and they did nothing about the mess. There was soap residue in the shower and the sink hadn't been washed. The hallway smelled bad and its carpet wasn't laid properly. They charge for toilet paper, clean towels, and each person. They also charge if you throw up on anything when you're sick. The microwave sounded like it was about to die.
