We were so comfortable here that we even nodded off in the common area. Deliska and her team were lovely and made my husband and me feel completely at ease. The views are amazing, and after getting home from our trip, I already miss the place. A peaceful, relaxing spot on the cape, and one I’d recommend.

The kitchen and dining area were large and well equipped, and there were plenty of amenities. We were traveling with our extended family for a week, and the friendly, helpful staff made the stay easy. The quiet ocean beach and hiking trails, with gorgeous mountain views, were just a minute’s walk away. There isn’t much privacy, but meeting interesting, friendly people from all over the world made up for that. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed for two nights and would’ve gladly made it longer. I’d never stayed in a hostel before, and this one was clean and comfortable, with welcoming staff and guests. The beach and a few hiking trails are very close. Most guests seemed older, so the atmosphere felt calm rather than very social.

The huge kitchen is fully stocked, so there’s room to cook without crowding each other. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. HI Truro is close to fun places to gather while still being a great base for a quiet beach vacation. One thing to know: since the hostel is on National Park land, alcohol isn’t allowed, including on the beach. I’d recommend it for a beach getaway.

For the price, I thought it was worth it. Check-in took a little while, but I can’t complain about the stay. Great location.
