We’ve stayed here for three years and things were fine before, but this visit was the complete opposite. The room wasn’t very clean, and there weren’t even glasses to have a drink. We’d booked two rooms with two queen beds in each, but at check-in we were told one had two beds and the other had a single bed. The other party ended up in an upstairs two-bedroom room. The noise has been awful since we arrived, with kids running around and making a lot of noise. It sounds like employees may be staying here with their families. I won’t be back for next year’s convention. On a 1-to-5 scale, with 5 as best, this was a 1.

The one nice part was getting to pet our neighbor’s dog, Molly. Otherwise, the spiders and cobwebs in the room, very loud noise at 7 a.m., and the workers’ unnecessary rudeness would keep me from coming back. You get what you pay for, I guess, so it wasn’t all that bad, but the staff were extremely unpleasant.

Thanks for letting me stay for a week, I really appreciate it. Simplicity is a great, nice, quiet hotel, and the rates are low. They have discounts and weekly rates, plus breakfast in the morning. The service was great too. This is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at.

Simplicity Inn has a new owner, and it’s a class act for a motel. My experience with the owner was great, he went above and beyond for me as a customer. The rooms were cozy, modern, and clean, and they offer low rates and a free continental breakfast. If you’re looking for an affordable place in Marshfield, I don’t think there’s a better choice.

The price is good, but the motel needs more updating. Some things have been improved, while other areas still look dated and generally kind of gross. The desk chair had stains, and there was a random outlet with an extension cord running into the wall. They still use keys for the doors. I also had a plumbing problem: the tub drained so slowly that the water came up to my ankles while I showered.
