The breakfast was already picked over with little left even though I came two hours before it ended. The blueberry muffins were so hard and dry you could bang them on the table, though another kind was fresh. This Hampton Inn was much more expensive than other places I've stayed, and I felt I'd wasted my money. I usually count on Hampton Inn being worth the extra cost, but I won't stay here again or recommend it. The hotel badly needs a remodel and feels run down. The carpet had lots of stains and bleach spots; it had been vacuumed, but dirt was embedded around the edges and on the bathroom floor. There was dirty underwear tucked under the sink, visible from the toilet or shower. I left a note and an arrow pointing to it on the mirror. So gross.

I tried to get my Hilton Honors account set up, but the number emailed to me didn't work. When I mentioned it to the clerk the next morning, she said the person who checked me in didn't know what he was doing, and that I had to call Hilton Honors to sign up. I haven't stayed at a Hilton in many years and had become a happy Marriott customer. At check-in the other night, my Hilton Honors number also hadn't worked, though the very nice clerk tried to help me sign up again. Then at 7:30 this morning I went for coffee and both urns, marked dark and light, were empty. I told the two clerks behind the desk, who were on their computers, and they said they were very busy. One replied insolently, "they're both the same." I said they were both empty. I'll use Days Inn next time I'm in Martin TN since there's no Marriott there, and I'll probably never stay at a Hilton again.

After a concert, we booked at the last minute and got a quiet room where we could relax. The staff were great, and breakfast in the morning really hit the spot.

Breakfast was just okay, but otherwise this is a nice Hampton Inn. There was plenty of parking, and the grounds and hotel in general were pretty clean. Our room was comfortable and clean, and I liked having four pillows on the bed so I could choose.
