My wife and I stayed in one of the little cabins before, and it felt so homey. We love the rooms, the cabins, the people, and the area. I’d left a review using an old alumni email, but when that address disappeared, the review went with it. I wanted to post again because this place deserves the recognition.

We had some time to spare after getting ice cream, pretzel bites, and a dirty coke at the soda shop in Moore's Old Pine Inn. Everything was outstanding, and we noticed the attached escape room, so we gave it a try. It was a fun challenge and our whole group enjoyed it. I saw a one-star review later and really disagree. The air conditioning worked well, and the computer screens and puzzle pieces were part of the experience. I’ve been to other escape rooms and they use puzzle pieces too. Great time overall.

We'd love to return when the mountain snow melts. Moore's Old Pine Inn was a beautiful, fun place to stay, with rooms done in authentic cowboy, western, and miner styles. Julie and Rodney were excellent hosts. They suggested some cool 4 wheel trails, made us a yummy breakfast, and even invited us to have smoores with their family.

This was our fourth visit, and we still love the cabins and the location at Moore's Old Pine Inn. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed in the Fishing Hole room, which felt a bit small beside a few rooms across the hall, but the bed was really comfortable and the ceiling fan was appreciated. The shared bathroom worked out fine since we were usually almost the only guests there, and there’s one on each side of the hall. It was cute, with a clawfoot tub, and the historic inn has plenty of charm. Check-in was easy: they texted us a door code, so we didn’t need to speak with anyone. We spotted deer and baby owls on the property, and it seems like a lovely place for a family trip. Next time we may try a private cabin. It’s also well placed between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National parks, and very close to Piute State park and its beautiful, peaceful lake.
