The hotel was clean and comfortable, but expensive for what you get. We had to be in the area for work, and this was the best price we found. We stayed about three weeks ago. The young woman who checked us in was very nice, but didn’t know whether they had a CDL or AAA rate, so we got neither. We paid for the room and mentioned our pet. They told us about the $25 pet fee, which was ridiculous, but we paid it. Afterward, a tall man who said he was the manager came to the desk and asked the girl whether she’d charged the fee. When she said yes, he told us, in a rude, snarky tone, “you know that's not including damages,” as though he assumed our dog would cause damage. Then he said, in the same tone, “your dog better not be over 30 pounds!!” Nobody had told us the dog had a weight limit. I don’t know exactly what our pet weighs, but I said he was around that. The rest of the stay was fine, but the manager’s rudeness made us uncomfortable. We won’t come back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We had a very positive stay in town for a college trip with eight guys. The rooms were clean, the value was great and the staff were exceptional. Continental breakfast wasn’t anything special, but there are several options down the road. Our group recommends Casey's breakfast pizza.

It felt like a brand-new motel, friendly and very clean, and I slept really well. You can tell they’ve just remodeled everything. Then I noticed a sign saying they were the newest Days Inn. I guess the negative reviews from a year or more back were from when it had a different company name and management.

Our suite was roomy and clean, and the new staff were very friendly and willing to help with what we needed. The gentleman at the front desk knew the local restaurants and activities. The hotel has new owners and is transitioning into a Days Inn. We’ll stay here again if we’re back in Marysville.

The place seemed quaint until bedtime. When I got into bed, I saw stains on the sheets and pillow, then watched a bug crawl across the bed. I had trouble falling asleep while listening to the guest next door arrive, settle in and plug things into the wall right by my head. The mattress was cheap, and moth-made holes in the curtain let morning sun in. I slept so little that I checked out early. I’d prepaid for two nights, unfortunately, and they couldn’t do anything about that. I’d never stay here again or suggest it to family or friends.
