We checked in and went to room 104. My husband opened the door with the key card, and there was a man asleep in the bed. He sat up, and we apologized and went back to the office. The man there apologized and got another room card with help from a worker. In the second room, sunlight came in around the a/c unit, and the bathroom window had been broken out and covered with a tomato box. The vent fan was exposed, the toilet seat was loose, and the towels looked dirty and stained. We did what we could to secure the room, but people talked and argued through the night. After only a few restless hours of sleep, we saw roaches the next morning, packed up quickly, and left. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Cockroaches scattered as soon as we opened the room door. We left right away. Don’t go here. I’d give it negative stars if I could.

We were told the hotel was fully booked when we raised a concern, and that a staff member would speak to the men who had backed a car onto the patio to change a tire. The whole scene made me want another room. Later, I returned at 11 PM on Saturday and found another woman in my room. The front desk said I’d asked for a refund and canceled the room. I absolutely hadn’t. They claimed someone, supposedly my friend, had come in, given them my room number, and received a key. That makes no sense since I still had the only key they gave me at check-in. The room itself was tolerable, though not great. But this breakdown in management and customer service left me with no choice but to leave late at night. My friend had driven from South Carolina and, because of severe car sickness, then faced a miserable 6.5-hour trip home. It was an exhausting, unnecessary ordeal. I’ll never return and strongly advise others to think twice before booking.

The owner offered to change the blankets, but by then I’d already grabbed my things and asked for my money back. The daughter was kind, understood, spoke English very well, and helped me get the refund. I wish I didn’t have to leave a bad review, but the pictures tell the story. The room smelled of moldy cigarettes, fruit flies were all over the bathroom, the tub was stained, and there seemed to be mold in every corner. When I checked the mattress, I found a dead cockroach under the covers. I couldn’t stay.
