Candlewood Suites Cincinnati Northeast-Mason, an IHG Hotel

We had plenty of room for our family of five in a room with two twin beds and a sleeper sofa. The full-size fridge was a big plus, and everything felt comfortable. Best of all, the beds were actually comfortable. We’ll stay here again.

We chose this for a last-minute weekend away with the family, and everyone had a great time. The hotel was really clean, the staff were super friendly, and the heated pool was a treat. We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, but this one stood out. We’ll definitely come back!

They need to do more than put out a wet floor sign by the pool. That concrete is so slippery that it needs more traction, or they should add perforated traction mats for people to walk on safely. I was taking it slow, and as a runner I usually have good balance and grip, but I still took a hard fall and hurt my ankle. The staff also seemed overworked and short-handed from what I saw. They were doing a good job, and I felt bad that they didn’t have more help.

The little kitchen had a hot plate, which I really liked. The place was clean and comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone.
