It's handy for downtown Mason and was quiet, but I didn't get a country retreat feel. The bed was the main concern: you have to step onto a wooden box to get in and out, which seems unsafe for older people or anyone with mobility issues. The wagon's ribs also had to be moved, and the sheet was too narrow to cover the whole bed. Some ads mentioned a golf course, but there wasn't one. Breakfast was boxed cold cereal, and they did have cookies to greet us. I’d rate cleanliness a two or three, with cobwebs and debris under the furniture. All that country decor must make it hard to dust.

We picked Mason for a weekend getaway because we wanted dark skies, and were surprised by how warm and lovely the town was. The B&B was clean and thoughtfully put together, and the furnishings were as unique as they looked online. Ms. Bridget was a wonderful host who knew a lot about what was happening in the community. We’ll be back.

Stay beneath the roof of this one-of-a-kind B&B in Mason and see the real wagon converted into a queen-size bed. There's a lot of history and plenty of little details to take in across the one-acre property and around town. Every detail felt finished, and this adorable place deserves more praise than I can put into words. Take the trip, you won't be disappointed.

Bridget was such a helpful, understanding person. She did a great job. The western-style decor was lovely, and our stay was quiet and relaxing. I'd recommend it to anyone.

It was a fun, quirky stay, and now I can say I've slept in a covered wagon. Getting in and out was a little awkward at my age, lol. Still, it was comfortable and quiet, and I slept well.
