The breakfasts were filling and delicious, and we had a lovely time in town. The innkeepers were so friendly, and getting to light a fire in the dining room was a treat. This was our first B&B stay, and the warm, family feel has me wondering if I’ll want to go back to plain modern hotels. Room 6 was the last one available when we booked for the New Year’s Eve event in summer. Its bathroom was tiny and uneven, and the shower was so awkward there wasn’t room or anything to hold onto while shaving or washing my feet. After the other guests left, we asked to move and got room 4. That had a nicely updated bathroom and a claw tub with room to move around. I still found showering in the tub awkward, with nowhere to set my things, so I had to bend down for shampoo and soap. I brought in the side table when I took a bath. We’d stay again. The old house has so much character. I loved the decor and the unusual appliances, especially the radiator, which looked like a work of art. The creaks were music to my old soul. My wife and I came for a weekend away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. Sharing a table and breaking bread with the other guests made it a wonderful experience. We’re looking forward to coming back.

The staff were the highlight, so kind and ready to help with anything to make our stay better. And the food was amazing: fresh fruit, baked oatmeal, French toast, pancakes, sausage, and kielbasa, all fresh and delicious. We were in room 6. It was cozy, with two soft beds and plenty of pillows. The bathroom was tiny, but did what we needed. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you to all the staff!

Julia puts so much heart into this inn, and she was wonderful. Our main-floor room, number 1, was beautiful, and the location was great. The Victorian house is lovely if you enjoy old homes, and we loved the Christmas decorations. Breakfast was amazing each morning. We’ll definitely be back!
