Everyone around the resort was so friendly, and even people at the Food Lion in town made us feel welcome. The rooms were awesome, and the whole stay was really relaxing. We had a fantastic family trip, exactly when we needed one. The activities cost quite a bit, so plan for that when you go on a vacation or getaway. I thank God for giving my family the chance to take this trip. We made precious memories at massanutten resort, and it made me wish we could stay a few more days, though we had to get back to real life.

We could barely sleep after finding two German cockroaches in the room. When we switched on the lights, they scattered across the floor. I managed to step on one, but the other vanished, and we spent the rest of the night worrying about what else might be there. That completely overshadowed our ski weekend. A hotel room should meet basic cleanliness standards, and having live roaches in it was unacceptable. We'd booked a room so we could ski all weekend without having to drive home. After a long, exhausting day on the slopes, all we wanted was a shower and some rest. Check-in was in another building, a ten-minute drive away. It was inconvenient, but manageable. Then we drove another ten minutes back to Building 6, ready to finally unwind.

The resort had a fun, organized atmosphere, and the slopes were in good shape. The lifts ran efficiently too, and everything felt especially approachable for a first-time snowboarder like me. I was a little nervous at first, but the team made it all smooth and enjoyable. The service stood out from the start. Every staff member I met was welcoming, friendly, and seemed genuinely keen to make sure guests had a good time. The trip went beyond what I'd imagined. I had a great time at Massanutten Resort and would recommend it for snow sports, a getaway with friends, or a new adventure. I can't wait to return.

The sales staff kept us there for nearly three hours, wouldn't let us leave easily, and quoted three different prices to pressure us into buying. Their service was unprofessional, terrible, and pushy. After being treated with that much disrespect, we wouldn't have bought anything even for $50. We'd been coming to Massanutten for four years, but this experience ended that for us. At a wedding event, they promoted a “3 nights and 1 day for $100” offer, as long as we attended a so-called “tour.” It turned out to be a high-pressure sales presentation. Once you do the math, it makes no financial sense, and it feels like you're being taken advantage of. The whole situation felt uncomfortable and honestly unsafe. The staff kept pushing after we said no, so we decided to check out early. We stayed just one night, before the tour, because we didn't feel secure around people we didn't know who were acting so aggressively over our decision not to buy. This ruined a place we used to enjoy visiting. The sales department is horrible, and the way guests are treated is unacceptable. If you value your time, peace of mind, and basic respect as a customer, DO NOT GO THERE.

There's so much to do here. We went swimming at the rec center several times, spent a day at the water park, and tried mini golf, snow tubing, and zip lining. Our room even had a Jacuzzi. We have a timeshare here, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I'd highly recommend it for a nice vacation.
