The owners were hostile from the start. I had pulled in to ask about a room, then took a quick smoke break and let my service animal use the restroom. Within 30 seconds of getting out of my vehicle, someone from the establishment came over in the parking lot, said they knew I wasn't a guest, and told me to leave. They also said my service animal wasn't welcome. If you're prepared to pay their price, be aware that they violate ADA guidelines and may greet you rudely. I hope you choose carefully. This hotel is not for me or my service animal. Thanks for turning away my business.

We checked in at the last minute, around 9:30 the night before, knowing the hotel was under renovation. The room and bed were decent for cleanliness, but as soon as we walked in there was a strong mold smell. I saw mold in the bathroom, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The odor got stronger the longer we stayed. We tried adjusting the AC fan to cover it, but that didn't help, and we left sometime after midnight. When I told the receptionist about the problem, she was a bit rude. She said she wasn't authorized to issue a refund and that I should call the manager by Monday. I explained I wasn't asking for a refund, just letting them know about the issue. I don't usually leave reviews, but I want to warn people so they don't make the same mistake. I believe it's wrong to open a hotel with mold issues because they can be hazardous to health.

We had to stop in the middle of the night without a reservation, and I do appreciate that they found us a room. But at $140, the condition was unacceptable for what the place offers, and the stay was awful. The room smelled damp and moldy as soon as we entered. The lamps were dirty, the walls stained, and everything felt neglected and unclean. My boyfriend and I lasted only about five hours before we couldn't stand being there any longer. It was uncomfortable and stressful, and absolutely not worth the money. Don't book here. Save your time and money and stay somewhere else.

On our way to Cinnamon Shore, we stopped for about 10 minutes to give our pug water and clean up a mess in the car. A man came out and aggressively told us we were on private property and trespassing, then ordered us to leave. We left right away when asked and didn't argue, but if that's how they treat potential guests and represent their business, we'll never patronize this place. I'd encourage everyone to stay as far away as possible. There's no telling what that unhinged person might do.
