My wife and I have stayed in few places as cozy and romantic as this inn. The room worked well for our needs, and we had full use of the beautiful deck out back. It's worth every penny. If you appreciate the ocean and being outdoors, I highly recommend staying here. Don't pass it up if you're looking for a place in Cape Coral. You won't regret it!

There was a great deck out back for sunset views and a nice breeze, and the bed and shower were comfortable. The rooms were very, very clean, with easy access. Our room had a fridge, microwave, stove, table, and cupboards stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. The TV was small, but that's fine since you're not in the room much. The building looks like it may date from the 1940s.

We had a blast meeting the other guests in the shared areas. There are five efficiency units, and the place is so cute and clean. We could dock our boat just a few feet from our room, and even took one family out on it. We're definitely coming back!

Everything worked fine and the place was very clean, but I thought my room cost too much, especially with the additional $50 cleaning fee. It had a kitchen, though there was no view, and the bedroom faced a busy road. The old drop ceiling made it feel like a basement up north. Matlacha felt like a novelty to me, and two hours there was enough.

Jackie, the cleaning lady, was a real plus on arrival day. She was friendly and gave us helpful information about Matlacha. Our room, the one on the patio, was ideal and very clean, and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The website photos are accurate. I'd recommend the inn and would stay again on a future trip to Matlacha.
