Presidential Inn & Suites

The themed rooms are great and romantic, but the bathrooms need attention and some rooms show obvious wear. My rooms at the Aura or Essence Suites feel new and comfortable, almost like my own room. At the Presidential Suite, it’s a gamble. I’ve even been cursed out by a partner who thought I was taking my other women to a cheap spot. Upgrade this place and it’d get five stars.

We just wanted somewhere to rest before work, but this was possibly the worst motel stay I’ve had. We paid 130 for two weekend nights. The rooms were dirty, had holes in the walls, and only the bare minimum. The people next door partied with loud music, so we couldn’t sleep. When I asked to move, the manager agreed because they’d been there over a month and he didn’t want to ask them to quiet down. In the new room the TV kept shutting off and restarting, and they still asked for another $20 because it was $10 more per night. I refused. Then we had another noisy neighbor, this time sounding like a couple arguing and fighting. It was a terrible failure. I’d sooner sleep in my car than come back, and wouldn’t recommend it.

They charged my card twice after saying it had been declined, and the front desk guy could only offer 50% off a future stay. As if I’d sleep there again. When I called the next day, the manager was a complete jerk. The room looked nothing like the website photos. The shower was broken, the bed was nasty, there was just one towel, and the walls and mirrors were filthy. The hot tub was the whole reason I booked, and it didn’t work. This ruined my birthday and was a horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend the place to roaches.

It was what you’d expect from a mo mo, if you know what I mean. Still, my room was clean and didn’t smell of cigarettes, so I liked the stay. It’s not somewhere to make love and lounge around. Handle your business, check out, and it serves its purpose.
