We only spent about an hour and a half trying to convince ourselves to stay before deciding the room was too unsanitary. The bathtub and shower were so dirty I felt I needed shower shoes. The hot tub looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages. I wiped its bottom with a towel before turning on the water, and the towel came away completely brown with dirt and grime. There was hair from shaving at the bottom of the trash can, and the trash hadn't been changed. The bed sheets had visible blood stains. Greasy handprints covered the headboard, and there was dust and spiderwebs on the mirrors and dresser, like no one had cleaned in weeks. This was the most disgusting hotel room I've ever stepped into. It felt unfit even for an animal, let alone paying guests. We spoke with the manager, who seemed understanding at first and said a refund would be fine. Because we booked through a third-party app, she said they had to contact the hotel and she would approve it. We did everything they told us, but still haven't received the refund. When we called back, the employee who answered was dismissive. She said there was nothing she could do and that we “should have looked at the room before buying it.” That response was shocking. We were traveling from four hours away. How are guests meant to inspect a room in person before booking in another city? We also paid at the front desk before entering, which is standard practice. Between the filthy room and the completely unhelpful service, the whole experience was awful. I genuinely don't understand how this place is still operating or why the health department hasn't intervened. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. No one should have to pay to stay in conditions like these.

The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. There was hair on the floor and in the tub, and hairs were caught in the towel fabric. I was disgusted using it. The room was ice cold, and the pillows felt like they were filled with cotton balls, with no support at all. My husband and I also had to wait for an employee to come out of the bathroom. He was rude, and should have checked his attitude. I regret using reward points here. We won't book this place again. 🙃

The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean except for the dirty floors. The hair dryer in room 228 was broken. It's an inexpensive place for a few nights, but the breakfast listing is misleading: I booked in September and only found out at check-in that breakfast had been discontinued a few weeks earlier. It was still advertised on the website and on the sign by the parking lot.

A few days after I got there, I woke up with three large red bumps, two on my arm and one on my back. I believe I was bitten by bed bugs that night, so please be cautious. I won't book there again or recommend it to anyone. This is my most recent review, dated 12/12/2025. I considered including my room number but decided not to. I was in Toledo because my car broke down while I was visiting from Michigan, and I needed to wait a couple of days for repairs at a nearby shop. Someone at the shop recommended the hotel. I booked two nights, 12/10 and 12/11. At first the room seemed tidy and clean. The tub dripped all night, but I just closed the door and didn't think much of it. My first night was peaceful, and the front desk staff were nice when I went up for ice water and other things. My car was fixed the next day, which made me happy. Later I went to get coffee in the lobby because I had to study for exams the following week, which was the reason I was in Toledo in the first place. The clerk was mopping when I came in. I apologized for stepping on the wet floor, but she didn't speak or acknowledge me. She just turned her head. I felt she wasn't fond of me being there, lol. Sometimes you can feel someone's energy, and hers wasn't inviting. It annoyed me, but I figured she'd get over it, grabbed my coffee, and left. I went to bed early because I had clinicals the next day, 12/12.

The bed was clean, comfortable, and nicely made, and the room is okay for the price. The floors were dirty, though, with dirt and loose hair around the sink, and there were water spots on the bathroom ceiling. Being right off a busy main road, it isn't a good choice if you want quiet. Still, if you're on a tight budget and need somewhere for a night or two, it works.
