The room and bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were kind, courteous, and happy to help with guest needs. I liked having a pool and gym, free garage parking on the property, and being able to park on the same level as the room. The beds sat too low to the floor for me, though. My only real downside, which wasn't under the property's control, was people walking along the street around 2-3:00 am, shouting or laughing loudly enough to startle me awake several times. It might be less of a problem on higher floors. I had a great time and would definitely stay again!

We came around Christmas 2025 on a couples road trip from Virginia to see Schellville Christmas village. One thing worth knowing for anyone concerned about safety: there are several entrances, but only the main one is monitored. We used the entrance near our room to avoid a long walk to the car and found it wasn't locked from outside. Someone could enter through the garage and get into the hotel without a key or key card. The service was exceptional, with a 24-hour concierge for questions or problems, and parking beneath the building was free. Our room had its own heater so we could set the temperature just how we liked it. The beach is only seconds away on either side, and in the off-season there are plenty of rooms. Dogs are allowed for an extra fee. It's one of the cheapest hotels around, though, and some public-area carpets looked old or unclean. The halls also had a strong air freshener smell, with a lot of fresheners around.

We decided at the last minute to visit Dewey, and spent most of our time at the beach in beautiful weather. The hotel is older and motel-like, but our room, fridge and freezer were spotless, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff and housekeepers were all lovely and friendly. The towels were on the small side, but they brought extra every day when I asked. When I mentioned at check-in that the fridge wasn't cold, someone came to look at it within five minutes and got it working. No further trouble with it. A few things were less good: the pool was very cloudy, possibly from too much free chlorine, so we didn't use it; the shower curtain was torn; and our first-floor door rattled whenever the nearby hallway door stuck and someone opened it. I'd stay again, hoping the pool is clearer next time.

The room was really clean, and the staff were super friendly. Great hotel. We’ll definitely come back!
