We had a spacious, clean room with a kitchenette, just what we needed for a board game night and pasta dinner with a friend. Breakfast was another plus: it stayed well stocked even when large family or church groups filled the common area. There was fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, and other basics, plus a yogurt station with granola, honey, and toppings that my vegetarian wife appreciated. The fitness center looked dated, but everything worked and I felt safe on the treadmill. My wife and I stayed at Staybridge Suites Cleveland Mayfield Heights Beachwood by IHG from Nov 26-Nov 30 over Thanksgiving. The hotel was busy, but the staff handled it smoothly and made us feel welcome. We booked through Priceline and check-in was easy. The front desk associate was polished, pleasant, and professional despite a full lobby and a rambunctious family by the complimentary hot cocoa bar. I also liked getting a text after check-in explaining that we could text the concierge for help. I didn’t use it, but appreciated having the option. Thanks to the staff, we felt well cared for and will be back.

The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, and the hotel itself was very clean. The front desk service was excellent. I can’t remember the young man’s name from the weekend, but he went above and beyond. There was free hot chocolate in the lobby too.

Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were nice and accommodating when they could be. Still, this location disappointed me. I’ve stayed at several other Staybridge locations and they were all wonderful. Our two-bedroom room was much smaller than other two-bedrooms I’ve stayed in, and the furniture was visibly dirty. The entry door looked as if someone had kicked it in. The room was freezing when we arrived, and the thermostat wouldn’t go above 74. The front desk said the temperature was preset, so the room stayed cold throughout our visit.

The breakfast and happy hour food options were wonderful, and the price felt like great value. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and I really appreciated that there was a wheelchair available to use. Our room could use a little maintenance, like paint touch-ups and grout work. Updated furniture and a larger couch would also be nice, but none of that would stop us from staying again. My husband and I spent 8 nights at the Mayfield Heights Staybridge Suites while I had a scheduled medical procedure nearby. Tucked away from the main road, it was quiet and convenient for shopping, restaurants, and medical facilities. The room felt like a small apartment, with a very comfortable bed and a kitchenette that had a full-size refrigerator and freezer.

We loved our stay in the king suite. It had a bedroom, bathroom, living room with a pull-out couch, and a full kitchen with a stovetop but no oven. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast was very good, with several hot buffet options.
