Maywood Inn

Really, there’s nothing bad to say about this location. A few stores two blocks down look a little rough, but it’s not that bad. The place is super clean, and the staff are friendly. The bathroom had a faint bleach smell, which shows how well they clean.

I felt safe and secure at the Maywood Inn, and the place was neat as a pin. I was there from 10/02/2025 - 10/09/25, and my Sofa King room was extremely comfortable. Arturo, Daniel, George, & Omar at the Front Desk were very helpful throughout my stay, including with getting around Los Angeles. Omar was especially helpful. The Inn’s Maintenance and Housekeeping Teams deserve recognition as well. The lobby always had hot, fresh coffee. I regret not taking a swim, but I’ll save that for my next visit. Fantastic stay, with a first class Team.

There’s a public microwave, so that part wasn’t a problem, but I had to throw out my leftover food because there was no fridge in the room. I checked with the receptionist, who confirmed that none of the rooms have one. The room itself was quite nice and clean, which is why I wanted to give it five stars. For a single night without food, it should be fine. If you’re staying longer and bringing food, you may want to reconsider.

This is my personal opinion, but it’s the best place I’ve ever been. I live in Bell and have gone there many times to get away and be alone. I’m antisocial, so finding a spot that felt right was hard. It has nothing to envy from any luxury place, and the customer service is amazing. Shout out to all the staff. They have rooms by the hour for those Amigo’s con derechos, hahaha. Great place.
