Studio 6-Houston, TX - West - Katy - Energy Corridor

I stayed for two months in a clean, quiet, safe place, and the staff and maids were friendly. My non-smoking room had two beds and was cleaned regularly as part of routine room service. There’s also a laundry room just for guests. The price is very reasonable, and you can walk to the bus stop, restaurants, and a coffee shop. The room has a small kitchen and equipment, which is handy if you want to cook. I’d recommend it for a short or long stay.

Ms. Lakiesha in the office was especially helpful and friendly. Both times I came down to extend my stay, she already knew my room number and helped me get whatever I needed, simple or complicated. She deserves a raise. Her customer service made the front office feel welcoming, and I’d return because of how kind and helpful she was. I appreciate the staff’s hospitality throughout my stay. One unsettling thing, though: around my third day I noticed a bullet hole straight through the front door and the railing outside. I don’t know how it happened, but at $70 per night I shouldn’t have had to see it. The door hole was filled with some kind of caulk, while the one in the railing was untouched. It’s disturbing, though not enough to keep me from returning. I know repairs like that may not be cheap, but they should be a priority.

We stayed for over 10 months on Houston’s West side and were extremely satisfied. It’s very affordable, handy for just about anything you need, and the clean, roomy rooms feel like home. The management and staff are polite, helpful, punctual, and very good at their jobs. Like another reviewer said, this is much better than an apartment, especially for a stay shorter than a one-year lease. Give it a try, I think you’ll be glad you did. I got in at 3am after a long drive, and the front desk clerk was very friendly. The rooms seemed newly renovated and were very clean. This is probably the best Studio 6 Extended stay I’ve been to, with all the facilities. It feels high class for this kind of motel, and the prices are affordable. It’s close to Houston downtown, where I spent a couple of days with my family, and we got the weekly rate too. Highly recommend staying here.
