Americas Best Value Platinum Inn & Suites

The staff were nice, and the room was really, really clean, so I’m still giving it four stars. But it was over 90 degrees when we arrived, and it didn’t get comfortable temperature-wise until well into the morning. One bed was comfortable enough. My son said the other was about as soft as the floor.

A nice little find just off the freeway. I was here on a business trip and appreciated how easy it was to get to Starbucks, plus there are restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the shower hot, and the staff very friendly. Thanks for the hospitality.

The staff treated me so well and were really friendly. I also liked the convenient location and thought the place was extremely good value for money, so I’ll definitely come back. The bed was a proper king, not two singles pushed together, and it was very good. The air conditioning was high quality and cooled the room to an ice box quickly, which was great in the summer heat. The bathroom was really nice, with beautiful bench tops. This place far exceeded my expectations, 10/10. I couldn’t fault it.

The room itself was clean and may have been remodeled recently, but several details were off: the smoke alarm was detached and left in a drawer, the shower floor was rough on our feet, and there was no tissue holder, so the roll sat on the tank. There were other minor issues, but I’ll leave it there. What really made this a horrible service experience was check-in. The booking company I paid through had made an error and offered to cover our early arrival at 12:15 p.m. The owner and manager at America's Best Value Platinum Inn still said no room could be ready before 2:45 or 3 p.m., no matter what my husband, I, or the booking company said. I even offered to take a double room instead of the king I’d booked. We’d been driving since 9 p.m. the night before, were tired and hungry, and needed to rest before meeting our team that evening. I asked them to clean an out-of-order room first and put us at the top of the list. The booking company was offering to pay the extra fee. We waited in our car in the parking lot for nearly three hours. We could see the cleaning team moving between rooms, and the room we were given had already been cleaned for at least an hour before they let us check in. The booking company's acknowledged error could have been resolved so easily if the Inn staff had just let us into any available room. Wow, horrible service.
