The Aspens and Aspen Village Timeshares

The place was clean and comfortable, with extra towels and the basics well stocked. We had everything we needed, and the complex also has pools, playgrounds, and tennis courts. There wasn't any AC, but that seems common for rentals in McCall from what I've seen. We liked it enough that I'm seriously considering a permanent timeshare, and I'd recommend it.

The condos really need a good cleaning. Our feet came away black from walking on the carpet and other floors. The location is great, though, close to the lake, mountain, trails, golf course, and more. There's an outdoor pool for summer, plus a fitness center with an indoor pool for winter.

After more than 30 years as timeshare owners, we're done coming back. During our last stay, Steve, their "lead housekeeper," came up to us very aggressively on Saturday and said we'd missed checkout. Our annual fees allow us to stay through Monday if we've reserved it, and we thought we had. He was rude, threatened eviction and late fees, and wouldn't listen. I called the office about what happened, but they made completely false accusations and said they'd mail me late checkout fees. It's not cheap to stay here, and we'll gladly spend our vacation time and money somewhere with much better hospitality. I consider these people liars and thieves, and would tell others to avoid them.

Being close to the beach and golf course is great, and we always enjoy the pools, hot tubs, and The Club, all included with our stay. The place feels like a second home, with wonderful people around. We like staying here every time.
