I've been staying here since October for work nearby, and this is by far the worst hotel I've dealt with in 28 years of work travel. I spend ten months a year in hotels. I booked this one for the kitchen because we prefer cooking to eating out, so that convenience earns it the one star. As a paying guest on the first floor, I want to relax and get some peace at night before work. The people above us stomp on the floors, and I've complained to the front desk many times. Nobody does anything. We have also caught several mice on glue traps, and the room had a major roach problem. It feels like management only cares about taking your money, not whether you enjoy your stay.

The room stayed clean throughout our visit, with the trash emptied and fresh towels provided. Ms. Lisa, our housekeeper on the 4th floor, kept on top of everything and was friendly and professional. Her warm personality really stood out, and I looked forward to our morning chats. She made us feel welcome and cared for. Every hotel needs a Ms. Lisa. She goes above and beyond, and made our stay even better.

The breakfast staff here are amazing. Every day they greet you with a hello, ask how you are, and say good morning, good afternoon, or good evening. They make you feel at home, and I think that may be a Southern hospitality thing. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable, which tells me there's great leadership at this location. I've reviewed hotels for many years, and it was a real pleasure to see. I'd give them ten stars if five were allowed.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay, but I need clarification about the $170 final bill. I arrived tired on Thursday after traveling from North Carolina to look for an apartment and checked out Friday morning. The stay is listed as Thursday, 01/01/2025, and the letter is dated January 3, 2026. At check-in, the front desk attendant quoted about $125, plus another $20 if I chose to use hotel amenities. She also said one buffet was complimentary. I used no amenities, only the bedroom and bed, and left everything else untouched. When I was booking online, the front desk agent stepped in and offered me the AARP rate. I'm 53, which qualifies me for the discount since AARP membership is available to anyone 50 or older. Could you explain how the total came to $170 and provide a prompt resolution? For identification, my cell number ends in 3918.
