The rooms felt warm and cozy, with rustic decor that suited the area, and the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Amy was great to work with. Prices were good, and the inn was convenient to the lake, restaurants, and downtown Oakland. We’ll absolutely book here again.

We could watch the sun set from our room window, which was a nice bonus. The rooms are charming and nicely decorated, and the owners were pleasant and helpful. There was some traffic noise, and we could hear enough from next door to know people were there, but it wasn’t awful. They have a reasonable quiet time, and everyone seemed respectful of it. Benches, chairs, and picnic tables outside the rooms gave guests a place to sit. We had a very positive stay and look forward to returning. Thanks, Garrett Inn, for the great hospitality!

We’ve stayed here many times over the past few decades, and I love that The Garrett Inn feels the same year after year. It’s welcoming and charming, with friendly, hardworking innkeepers. The place is amazingly clean and nicely decorated. The beds are super comfortable, and the rooms have a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and nice furniture, including a table and two chairs. We love staying here and will be back soon.
