The Old West Inn

We haven’t even stayed yet, but we can’t wait to visit the hotel and the surrounding areas. The owner was kind and helpful, went out of his way to save us a bit of money, and put together a great map of things to do nearby. Friendly and helpful. I’ll update after the stay.

After a long trip from Pennsylvania to see the redwoods, we were glad to find this place. The rooms were dark, the beds comfortable, and we slept well, waking up refreshed and ready to go. Everything was extremely clean and modern, with a cute old western theme. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the area felt safe and quiet. I’d recommend this Inn to anyone traveling nearby.

I live locally and had driven past The Old West Inn plenty of times without noticing its charm. It’s a real hidden gem. The old west decor is nicely done, and the room felt comfortable, from the bed and pillows to the range of lighting options. It’s affordable, too, and much nicer than the price suggests, better than other rooms in the area at a similar price.

The prices are very good, and I’d suggest contacting the hotel directly to book. Rooms are a decent size, clean, and everything works as it should. The beds are comfortable. What sets this place apart for me is that the owners, two brothers and their family, are onsite and easy to reach. I feel confident they’d respond reasonably and effectively if anything came up, which hasn’t been my experience at most basic managed hotels.
