Best Western Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel

The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful when I asked about the rooms and amenities. We booked adjoining family rooms, which were very nice. Breakfast had loads of choices, including fresh fruit, and the kids especially loved the fresh waffles and pancake machine. The pool was great too.

The staff were very nice when we checked in, and the room seemed great at first. Then I went into the bathroom and found hair all over the tub and floor. So gross. It’s the first and last time I’ll stay here.

I was driving through and stayed one night. The room was really comfortable and excellent. I’d booked a standard queen, so maybe they gave me a surprise upgrade. There aren’t the amenities you’d find at a five-star hotel, like an on-site bar or restaurant, but it still felt like one to me. I’ll come back next time I’m passing through.

It took more than two hours just to check in because of their computer system. We weren’t allowed into a room to get ready for dinner or anything, so we spent the whole time waiting. There was no manager on site, and it was a horrible experience. Customer service told me to pick a different hotel.
