I've stayed here a couple of times a year for many years, and usually had a great experience. But my Dec 3-5, 2025 visit was a big letdown, especially at $744 for two nights in the most basic room, booked months ahead. The hotel was cleaning guest room carpets while people were staying there. A notice said they were doing every room on the floor that day. I left the do not disturb tag up because I didn't want that happening during my stay, but returned after a full day of work on the second day to soaking wet carpet and a strong chemical smell. The slimy mix of cleaner and carpet grime made my shoes slide like I was on ice when I stepped onto the tile. Without shoes, my socks quickly got soaked and uncomfortable, so I ended up barefoot and went to sleep with gross, wet, sticky feet. The next morning the room had dried out and the carpet seemed normal. They could have cleaned it on a day when no guest was in the room. The tile had dried to a nasty sticky film, like walking through a bad dive bar. Afterward I contacted Hilton and they didn't want to hear the details. I offered photos, but they declined. I asked for the second night's cost back. After a hold, they offered Hilton points; when I refused, another hold ended with a one-night-only voucher for Homewood Suites. I declined that too. They eventually offered a partial refund, but made it painful to get and wouldn't return it to my card. They took my address and say they'll mail a check I have to deal with.

For a two-week trip, having laundry on site meant we could pack fewer clothes, and the small kitchen let us buy groceries instead of eating out. The rooms were clean and convenient, and the staff were helpful and nice. When we had a water problem, they responded quickly. We stayed over the Christmas and New Year's break and will keep using this place on future trips to the bay area.

The breakfast the next day was a nice surprise. Along with the usual continental options, there was a taco bar, which impressed me. The night before, staff had given me a warm welcome, and I enjoyed the lemonade because it wasn't overly sweet. I appreciated how carefully they'd made it. I stayed just one night and felt the Hilton's hospitality. Good work by management, and I'd like to see other Hilton hotels follow suit.

We especially liked staying here with our Teslas. There are four Tesla chargers and two J1772, charging at up to 48 amps, so you can definitely get a full charge overnight. Breakfast and charging are included in the fees, and the garages are nice for parking. Rooms are clean, with modern kitchens, and there's a fitness center and pool. We really like this hotel and will be back. No hot tub that I could find, though that's not a big deal given the other perks. The outdoor pool was fair and clean. Well done, Hilton, our Teslas love you. :)

The kitchen was the biggest help for my family, since we cooked in it every day. I stayed over three weeks and really liked the king bed studio. It was roomy and bright, with three windows. They also had free breakfast, happy hour Monday through Thursday, and complimentary bottled water. The WiFi could be weak at times, and only two of the lamps had USB charging ports.
