Budget Host Inn by Hotel O Portland near I-65

I spent 40 minutes waiting for someone to show up because the office was closed, then another 30 before I could get into this jail cell of a room. The pictures online look fake or really old. Inside, there were roaches, dead and alive, more bugs near a dirty old sock by the sink, and an oily, dirty concrete floor. The bathroom felt toxic to be around. Stay as far away as you can.

Nothing had been cleaned, the beds hadn't been changed, and there were roaches everywhere. The place was disgusting, with people who looked like they were using drugs walking around. My key card wouldn't open the door, so I called and waited eight minutes outside in the freezing cold. When I said we weren't staying, they refused to refund my money. Don't stay here.

We never checked in. I was relieved it was still daylight when we arrived because I wouldn't have felt safe at night. There was nobody in the lobby, so I had to call a number for help. I'm glad the manager showed us the rooms, since the first was dirty with a crumbling ceiling, and the second smelled so bad I only went halfway inside. We also saw mattresses by the entrance and dumpster. The manager promised a refund if we didn't check in, but never returned my calls, and I didn't get the money back. I reported the place to Priceline, which I probably won't use again. The listing's photos were misleading, and its 2.5-star rating felt like a lie. Priceline won't refund me either. False advertising. I wish I could give zero stars.

This was the creepiest place I've ever seen. The way they check you in was unsettling, and when we looked at the room, both beds had bloody sheets and what looked like bodily fluids on them.
