Traffic from the highway nearby was noticeable. The water also gets extremely hot, around 140 degrees, so be careful if you like a cooler shower. The pillows were all very firm, with no softer option, so bring your own if that matters to you. Customer service was poor. I checked in after midnight and asked to stay until noon, but the night manager said I had to leave by 11 a.m. and denied late checkout, even though the hotel seemed empty. I had to remind them they work in hospitality and should be more accommodating to people who need a decent place to stay while away from home.

I’d happily recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to return, which is unusual for me. The room was very clean, with clean carpet, nice towels, and a comfortable bed. It didn’t feel outdated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t give it five stars because parking can be a challenge. I also wanted milk for my coffee at 7 a.m. so I could make it myself, but the office was locked and I couldn’t get in.

The woman at the counter was warm, and checking in was easy. I wasn’t expecting much when I arrived at the Days Inn, so the clean, well furnished room with no lingering smell was a nice surprise. The bed was soft without swallowing me, though the pillows were a little firm for my taste. There was a small microwave and refrigerator, plus a large TV set into a console. Finding the entrance can be tricky the first time, but after a couple of trips it was easy. It gives the place a bit of a hidden wonder feel. I’d gladly stay here again.

The owner threatened to pull a gun on me, and management insulted and humiliated me. I only asked for conditioner, which they don’t have, and was told, “Welcome to America. You can’t get everything you want.” I was a paying customer and just wanted to videotape him so I could show people how disrespectful he was. I believe the owner is racist. I’ll never come back and advise others not to stay here. I’d rather sleep under a bridge than return. I’ve already called corporate to report what happened. Good luck, everyone. I paid about $100 a night, $411 for four nights, and would definitely stay again. It was clean, and about 100 yards from the tram, making it easy to reach the Oregon Convention Center in just 12 minutes. The first two photos show how close the tram station is. I took the photos on departure day, after sleeping in and using the room. All rooms are no smoking and no pets. There was a problem with homeless people fighting and banging on the back wall, but I called the front desk and they dealt with it quickly.
